Leadership Development Certificate program

Keyano College’s new Leadership Development Certificate program offers you the opportunity to learn skills that will prepare you to address a wide range of management challenges.

The program consists of five modules, available either in a classroom setting at the college’s Fort McMurray campus (see schedule), on-line, or in a combination of classroom and on-line:

1. Essential Skills of Leadership
2. Essential Skills of Communicating
3. Communicating Up
4. Providing Performance Feedback
5. Delegating

If you wish receive a certificate, you must complete all five modules within one year of registering.  You also have the option of taking individual modules without enrolling in tthe full program.

Three additional modules are available on-line only:

1. Coaching Job Skills
2. Resolving Conflicts
3. Motivating Team Members

Once you have registered, you will receive a password that will give you unlimited access to the course for 365 days.  You will also be linked to a tutor who will suggest additional resources and activities, and who is prepared to respond to your questions related to the course material.

The cost of each classroom or on-line module is $199 plus GST.

Leadership Development Certificate Classroom Sessions

No classroom modules are currently scheduled, but you can arrange customized classroom training for your company's supervisors.
